Five Tips on How to Build a Quiet PC
If you are a computer enthusiast who is ready to meet your current computer with the latest and best computer hardware, or if you are someone who is not only the noise of the computer can always be sure you're in luck mod. Following are the top five tips on building a quiet pc.
1.) Power Supply – This is the device that generated the performance of your computer. Unfortunately, this is almost always involves the loudest part of your computer. It usually contains one or two fans,used to cool the device. Fortunately, with today's technology you can now with power supplies, the use of only their fans, when the temperature reaches a set point. This will reduce both the noise and save energy.
2.) Case Fans – The reasons for case fans are obvious to create, to allow adequate ventilation. Unfortunately, for some computers, they are only there to create harmful noise. If your computer is used mainly for documents, internet, e-mail, chances are you do not need more than oneChassis fan. A system for the latest computer games on the other side is used, adequate ventilation must bring the internal temperature of up to a safe operating level.
3.) Disk Drives – If you are the subject of noise, there is not much you can do to invest, except in a CD or DVD, a quieter model, or create acoustical padding known to drive them. If you have issues with floppy drive noises, I tell you now, you are far behind the technology. A memory card reader is much faster,and is completely silent.
4.) Hard Drives – Hard drive noises are often difficult to suppress as well. The common hard drive noises are heard when the device is used to install to open a program, software, etc. Often the noises are the vibrations between your hard drive, and mount your disks. Attenuation your device with padding like silica gel are often some of the noise. If you drive makes unusual noises, and felt, while not in use, there is a chanceit might fail. 5.) Computer Case – This is often forgotten. There are many types of cases that developed in all possible ways. You can even purchase included the case with sound padding materials in it. Consider the material with him. An aluminum case can by thin and may increase noise levels from its vibrations. A steel casing is not creating more stable and less vulnerable to shocks. The disadvantage ofSteel case would be its weight. Whichever case you decide to use, acoustic sound padding, silica gel, and foam blocks, will significantly reduce vibration.
Building a quiet PC is not for everyone. If you have a brand computer, you will probably get a hard time following the tips above. Changes to the computer may mark a warranty void. I would suggest researching this first before you my tips. You must also remember that your computer must be runningsafe operating temperature to avoid interference or even failure. Testing and research is always recommended.
